Role Overview

The Technical Co-founder will spearhead the comprehensive development lifecycle of Nexwear Innovation's primary products, taking full accountability for technical architecture, implementation, and release. This role, based full-time on-site in Tiruchirappalli, entails designing scalable systems, defining technical standards, and establishing best practices across development, testing, and deployment. You will work closely with fellow founders to convert business priorities into technical plans, manage feature prioritization, schedules, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on software development and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Assess and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the product stack.
• Prepare technical documents, conduct risk evaluations, and support discussions with investors and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one contemporary programming language and experience delivering product-focused software.
• Experience in system architecture design, database handling, and integrating front-end with back-end systems.
• Expertise in hardware-software integration, specifically IoT or wearable tech, is strongly advantageous.
• Capability to establish and maintain development processes including version control, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Background in early-stage startup environments or roles emphasizing rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Strong collaboration skills related to business strategy, such as product planning, budget management, and assessing technology-related risks.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a comparable practical background.
