Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team in India. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in data analysis, SQL, data warehousing, and requirements engineering, coupled with experience in data profiling and gap evaluation. This position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify challenges, define data/reporting needs, design technical solutions, and guide their delivery. Telecommunications industry experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the intermediary between business teams and technical units by converting business demands into precise technical specifications.
Analyze problem statements, conduct gap assessments, and propose suitable technical approaches.
Own the solution process end-to-end from requirements gathering to deployment.
Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to evaluate data prospects and reporting prerequisites.
Create detailed, accurate, and comprehensive business and functional requirement documents.
Offer clear technical direction and clarify requirements to development teams for implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover enhancement opportunities and drive result-oriented delivery.
Participate in project estimation, planning, and prioritization of tasks and requirements.
Engage in Agile and SAFe frameworks during project delivery.
Ensure deliverables meet accuracy and stakeholder expectations.

Candidate Profile

Strong skills in data analysis, SQL, data warehousing, data profiling, and requirement gathering.
Well-versed in the business analysis lifecycle and best practices.
Familiarity with database platforms like Oracle, Teradata, and BigQuery.
Knowledge of data modeling and analytics program concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to balance priorities.
Understanding of ETL processes and data warehouse essentials.
Proficient in validating and challenging data and reporting requirements.
Experience or knowledge of telecommunications business processes and analytics landscapes.
Exposure to Agile delivery methods, ideally SAFe methodology.
Capability to translate complex business needs into feasible technical implementations.
