- Operates at Ottawa International Airport for SSP Canada, managing multiple restaurant locations
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests with a friendly attitude
- Efficiently take and accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle customer payments and provide correct change
- Set up, maintain, clean, and break down kitchen machinery and equipment as needed
- Complete required opening, ongoing, and closing checklists diligently
- Return all used items properly, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work and storage areas including refrigerators and coolers
- Empty trash and line containers, and perform cleaning tasks using standard products as directed to comply with health and hygiene standards
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of experience in a food service environment
- Experience working at Tim Hortons is considered an advantage
- High school diploma preferred
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with guests
- French language skills are an additional asset
- Ability to memorize, recite, and promote menu items confidently
- Competency in keyboard use and POS operations for order processing and closing
- Physical ability to stand for long periods in confined workspaces
