Job description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to oversee procurement activities within the Facilities Management sector, focusing on industrial and manufacturing environments. This position involves collaboration with multiple departments including procurement leadership, operations, engineering, and finance to enhance supply chain efficiency, foster supplier partnerships, and deliver commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Procurement and Account Directors in enacting procurement strategies tailored to facilities management requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of four direct reports.
- Create and maintain procurement plans jointly with operations teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to supplier contracts and company procurement policies.
- Oversee supplier relationships, promptly handle service challenges, and uphold the continuity of critical operations.
- Drive initiatives for cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value generation through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring all necessary documentation is compliant.
- Deliver consistent procurement reports, including key performance indicators, savings achievements, sourcing activities, and supplier evaluations.
- Support supplier engagement in annual maintenance planning alongside operational teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and maintain responsible procurement standards.
- Participate in audits and provide training support related to strategic sourcing processes.
- Serve as a procurement representative in client meetings and act as deputy for the Procurement Lead when necessary.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum six years' experience in facilities management procurement involving both hard and soft service categories.
- Proven track record of managing global suppliers and building partnerships across the EMEA region.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary range from €80,000 to €110,000 annually, along with performance bonuses and a company car.
