Role Overview

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting an assigned shift so that production targets are achieved on schedule, while maintaining the required quality standards and budget controls. The role also involves supervising operators and ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the assigned shift and help deliver the production plan within the expected timeline.
  • Maintain compliance with agreed quality standards and budgetary limits.
  • Oversee operators to make sure production runs efficiently and safely.
  • Promote and enforce safety and quality practices on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Bakery or Food Technology is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar bakery-based role is needed.
  • Hands-on exposure to producing bread and pastry products is essential.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills are required.
  • Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working with a multicultural team.
  • Leadership, coaching, on-the-job training, analytical thinking, and constructive feedback skills are important.
  • Candidates should be effective team players with solid communication and people-management ability.
