About the Role

The Ministry of Justice invites applications for a permanent full-time Team Leader position at the Auckland High Court. This role focuses on operational leadership and people management within the court environment to enhance timely delivery of justice services, specifically in criminal and civil case management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for court service delivery, ensuring efficient workflows for criminal and civil cases.
  • Prioritize daily operational tasks and strategically allocate staff and resources within the registry to meet court demands.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and staff development reviews to foster high team performance.
  • Design and facilitate training sessions to enhance team capability.
  • Gather and analyse operational statistics to inform process improvements.
  • Utilize statutory authorities as required to support court functions.

Candidate Attributes

  • Proven leadership and coaching experience with a focus on achieving high performance outcomes.
  • Strong customer-oriented approach coupled with an interest or knowledge of the justice sector.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or commensurate experience in a related field.

Salary

The salary range for this role is NZD 74,634 to 95,591 per year, with the possibility of higher remuneration based on skills and experience.
