Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Leader to join the vibrant team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. This role involves ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction at the resort’s dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and warmly welcome all guests, escorting them to their seats and providing detailed seating information.
• Explain menu offerings, including specials and promotions, and address any dietary or allergy-related questions effectively.
• Accurately record and relay food and beverage orders, strictly adhering to regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Serve meals and drinks with professionalism, manage billing and payment transactions using the MICROS system, and ensure seamless dining service.
• Collect guest feedback, swiftly resolve any issues, and sustain high levels of guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum requirement of Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent qualification, complemented by Basic Food and Hygiene Training; holding a Diploma in Hotel Management is advantageous.
• Possess 2 to 3 years of waiter/waitress work experience in a luxury hotel setting, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of high service standards.
• Skilled in handling telephone inquiries and proficient with the MICROS cashiering system; basic computer literacy is essential.
• Fluent in English—reading, writing, and speaking—with strong communication skills, team spirit, adaptability, reliability, and keen attention to detail, paired with a positive and energetic demeanor.
