Overview
Octave is currently looking to appoint a Team Lead for Industry Consulting based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working in a hybrid environment. This pivotal role reports to the Director of Pre-Sales and focuses on leading strategic pre-sales activities across the asset lifecycle in industrial facilities. The incumbent will support digital maturity enhancement by aligning customer processes with Octave's solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to comprehend client business challenges and devise customized account strategies aimed at achieving targeted outcomes.
- Perform thorough analyses of client business operations, processes, and technical settings.
- Formulate practical recommendations based on Octave's offerings to drive digital transformation efforts.
- Convert client issues into solution development roadmaps, collaborating with solution consultants, industry experts, and product teams.
- Lead pre-sales initiatives such as workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, value communication, and proposal creation.
- Provide strategic feedback to influence product roadmap and development.
- Assist in preparing business and functional requirements responding to requests for information/proposals.
- Serve as a trusted consultant, advising clients on digital transformation leveraging Octave’s capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or an equivalent field.
- Approximately 15 years of pertinent experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical leadership roles within industrial facility sectors.
- Proven track record in business development or industry consulting with emphasis on digital transformation.
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial workflows and asset lifecycle stages including engineering, construction, and operations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities.
- Experience in crafting and delivering strategic roadmaps and digital maturity evaluations.
- Fluent English required; proficiency in Arabic preferred.
- Adept at operating within complex, matrixed multinational organizations.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% across the EMIA region.
