Role Overview
The Team Lead for After Sales Commercial Operations will spearhead strategic initiatives and promote operational excellence across global markets, working closely to enhance coordination and performance in this key sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 3 to 4 professionals, establishing clear roles, managing priorities, overseeing performance, and encouraging ongoing professional growth.
- Manage LOA governance and provide tender support for complex international opportunities, ensuring timely risk evaluation, escalation, and consensus on decisions.
- Execute strategy rollouts by applying global frameworks related to Key Account Management, market planning, and maintaining product competitiveness, including monitoring and necessary corrective interventions.
- Maintain oversight of global After Sales KPIs and the service contract pipeline, delivering forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable insights to senior management.
- Act as the primary liaison among global leadership, regional After Sales Directors, and cross-functional departments such as Legal and Service Technical Marketing, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
- Promote collaboration, capability growth, and the sharing of best practices across regions to accelerate deal closures and achieve measurable business impact.
Candidate Profile
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Commercial Operations, After Sales, Sales, or Services, with a proven record leading multi-region teams and excelling in strategic negotiations and governance.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or relevant fields.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), ERP platforms (SAP), BI tools (Power BI), advanced Excel skills, and collaboration tools including Teams and SharePoint.
- Strong strategic mindset complemented by excellent stakeholder management, negotiation expertise, and a data-driven approach to decision-making and process enhancement.
- Demonstrated change management capabilities, methodical problem-solving aptitude, and effective communication skills with diverse global partners.
- Fluency in English and German (at least B2 level); additional languages are beneficial.
Compensation
The role offers an annual gross salary ranging between €75,000 and €82,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
