About Saint Ignatius' College Riverview
Situated in Lane Cove, New South Wales, Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview is a Catholic boys’ school established in the Jesuit tradition. It provides comprehensive education for day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12 across expansive and scenic grounds.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional individual for the part-time (0.6 FTE) Teachers’ Aide role at our Regis Campus, reporting to the Director of Regis Campus. This contract position is term-time only for Semester 2, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individual students in their daily school routines.
- Assist students with learning difficulties to engage and participate fully in classroom activities.
- Provide care and management for students who face challenges in accessing the curriculum.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a Teachers' Aide in a secondary school setting.
- Understanding of working with students who have additional learning needs.
- Ability to support professional staff and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality, reliability, and demonstrate sensitivity towards students and their families.
- Exhibit empathy and compassion for diverse student abilities and needs.
- Show flexibility and initiative in the role.
- Possess strong administrative capabilities, IT proficiency, and careful attention to detail.
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check clearance.
