Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and precise submission of VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax returns aligned with GCC tax laws.
- Track updates in VAT, corporate, and international tax regulations and comply with revised policies.
- Detect and escalate tax risks or compliance issues during tax return preparations.
- Conduct research on tax guidelines to support advisory services and company decision-making.
- Compile and deliver tax reports required by authorities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for tax filings and audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to uphold compliance and best practices.
- Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure tax strategies support business goals.
- Oversee compliance with transfer pricing rules and manage related documentation.
- Evaluate tax effects on cross-border transactions and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
- Preferably holding professional tax certifications such as CTA, CPA, or ACCA.
- Demonstrated experience in tax compliance and reporting, especially within GCC jurisdictions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, and international tax frameworks.
- Skilled in tax research and analytical assessment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communicator with aptitude for collaboration across internal departments and external partners.
