About the Role
As a Tariff Manager at Cargoboard, you will be the key point of contact for inquiries related to tariff agreements with our partner companies, emphasizing international collaborations. Your tasks include managing and maintaining tariffs within our transport management systems and Excel spreadsheets. You will work closely with the Expansion Team to ensure accurate and continuous enhancement of new and existing tariffs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for tariff-related questions involving partner organizations, focusing on international partners.
- Manage and update tariff data within the transport management system and Excel tools.
- Collaborate with the Expansion Team to maintain and improve tariff accuracy and development.
- Review incoming invoices and generate outgoing invoices accordingly.
- Ensure professional, solution-focused communication and coordination with partner companies and clients.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding clerk or similar qualification.
- Experience in freight-related billing and invoice verification, along with strong knowledge of tariff administration and maintenance.
- Confident, friendly, and solution-oriented communication skills when interacting with customers and partners.
- Analytical thinking coupled with proficiency in Excel.
- Good command of English language skills.
