About Standing Tall
Standing Tall is a pioneering not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing homelessness by supporting individuals to secure stable employment and safe housing. Our success is evident as 80% of those we assist remain off the streets and maintain their jobs a year later. Our mission currently spans multiple cities including Birmingham, London, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Derby, and Glasgow.
Role Overview
Based in Birmingham, this full-time role involves hybrid work with some local travel. You will be responsible for leading Standing Tall’s initiatives within Birmingham, ensuring the delivery of impactful services to individuals overcoming homelessness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing assessment and support for individuals affected by homelessness over a twelve-month period, facilitating their placement into sustainable employment and safe housing.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses willing to employ people recovering from homelessness.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer hosts ('Amici Hosts') who offer safe accommodations to our clients.
- Manage all Standing Tall operations and activities within the Birmingham area.

Additional Information
- Salary: £30,000 per annum plus benefits
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
