Role Overview

This position will act as the operational center of the People function, supporting both recruiting execution and employee experience initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys fast-moving environments, building structure, and creating strong experiences for candidates and employees.

This is an onsite role based in El Segundo, California.

Talent Operations Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate interview schedules and all related logistics across multiple teams to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Publish and manage job openings across recruiting platforms, including Greenhouse and external job boards.
  • Assist with offer preparation and coordination, including drafting offer letters and monitoring approval steps.
  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep hiring activities progressing efficiently.
  • Maintain clean and accurate recruiting data, and prepare simple reports on pipeline progress and hiring metrics.
  • Support candidate communication and make sure follow-ups happen on time.

People Operations Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding activities so new hires have a smooth and welcoming start.
  • Keep HRIS records current, complete, and accurate through regular maintenance and audits.
  • Support people programs and initiatives such as training, engagement activities, values council work, and related efforts.
  • Help document processes and contribute to improvements across people operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of core People and Talent processes as the company grows.
  • Spot inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements to workflows and systems.
  • Maintain strong accuracy and attention to detail across systems, communications, and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in talent operations, recruiting coordination, or people operations within a technology setting.
  • Strong organizational ability and comfort managing several priorities at once.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a structured, systems-based mindset.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and deadline management skills.
  • Clear communication style with accountability and strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that changes quickly.
  • Technically comfortable with HR tools and systems such as ATS and HRIS, and able to work effectively in a Microsoft-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an R&D startup or in hardware, energy, industrial technology, aerospace, or a similar field.
  • Experience using TriNet and Greenhouse.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is USD 65,000 to USD 75,000 per year. Final pay will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
