Job description
About the role
This position is for an experienced talent acquisition professional who can support technology hiring for Europe and the UK while based in India. Key responsibilities
- Own the full sourcing cycle and identify suitable candidates for technology positions across Europe and the UK.
- Build candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, talent networks, referrals, consultants, and other sourcing avenues.
- Evaluate, screen, and narrow down applicants based on role expectations and business needs.
- Work with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to understand demand and support hiring outcomes.
- Arrange interviews and help ensure a positive journey for candidates throughout the process.
- Keep recruitment trackers, reports, and dashboards updated accurately and on time.
- Track hiring metrics and make sure timelines and service-level commitments are met.
- Stay up to date on market trends, talent supply, and competitive hiring practices in the Europe and UK region.
- Assess hiring demand by order, cadre, skill category, and volume versus niche needs to plan sourcing effectively.
- Design sourcing plans aligned to the hiring channel mix and cost considerations.
- Support selection with technical panels and coordinate role-specific tests such as programming assessments when required.
- Conduct HR evaluation discussions, manage compensation conversations, and obtain approvals as needed.
- Issue offers, follow up on acceptance, and stay engaged with selected candidates until joining.
- Coordinate background verification with the HRSS team and keep business teams informed about joining status.
- Maintain candidate engagement before joining, resolve concerns promptly, and handle escalations with a focus on minimizing negative experiences.
- Update data daily in the recruitment tool, upload candidate documents, and maintain reliable records for review.
- Prepare and refresh weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards for management.
- Meet with WMG teams to discuss progress, risks, and hiring blockers, and seek support when needed.
- Follow internal recruitment controls and review data quality, integrity, and auditability on a regular basis.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of recruitment experience, with substantial exposure to hiring in Europe and the UK.
- Proven ability to source and hire technology talent across different skill sets and seniority levels.
- Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and similar sourcing platforms.
- Experience collaborating with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Comfort working during Europe and UK business hours to support international hiring.
- Clear communication, strong interpersonal ability, and solid stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail, disciplined reporting habits, and a structured approach to recruitment processes.
- Flexible, proactive, and open to learning new hiring methods and talent acquisition practices.
- Exposure to niche and emerging technology skill requirements is preferred.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions while maintaining quality and priority balance.
- Willingness to follow strict company guidelines, salary frameworks, SLAs, and compliance expectations.
- Commitment to delivering a strong candidate experience and avoiding valid escalations.
