Role Overview

We seek an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist experienced in the creator economy, social media, and gaming sectors for a full-time position based in Melbourne. This role involves recruiting a diverse range of talents spanning traditional corporate roles and creative positions such as actors, writers, artists, set designers, production crew, and gaming experts across various international locations. Familiarity with recruitment in media, YouTube, or gaming companies is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment process from job advertisement creation to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate journey.
• Collaborate with department leaders to source, assess, and recommend candidates who meet job requirements and align with team culture.
• Serve as the expert user of the existing talent technology stack including Team Tailor, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monday.com, and Discord.
• Conduct ongoing market research on recruitment trends and salary standards to design competitive offers.
• Proactively identify and engage potential candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube Ads, forums, referrals, and relevant industry channels.
• Screen applications thoroughly to select the best prospects matching our company's values.
• Lead offer negotiations ensuring equitable and appealing terms for both candidates and the company.
• Promote a high-quality, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Collect and analyze candidate feedback to enhance recruitment processes.
• Handle confidential candidate and company data with professionalism and discretion.
• Optimize recruitment workflows, tools, and systems continually.
• Build and nurture a talent pool for roles related to Production, Creative, Packaging, Post-Production, and Operations.
• Ensure all hiring procedures comply with company policies and accurate record-keeping is maintained.
• Leverage social media and professional networks such as X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Discord to enhance employer branding and broaden candidate reach.
• Coordinate with People Operations and Operations teams for seamless onboarding and new hire integration, constantly improving these processes to boost retention.
• Regularly deliver recruitment performance reports and insights based on collected data.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, or similar roles.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings to accommodate international onboarding schedules.
• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-driven approach.
• Strong communication skills and capability to build effective relationships.
• A genuine passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems like Team Tailor and project tools like Monday.com is highly preferred.
• Prior experience within the YouTube and Minecraft industries is strongly desirable.
