Role overview
POET Technologies is hiring a Specialist in HR focused on talent acquisition to help drive recruitment and support local HR operations in Singapore. The position covers hiring for both engineering professionals and technician roles, along with assistance in onboarding and compliance-related administration.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the hiring workflow from start to finish, including posting openings, arranging interviews, and keeping candidates informed.
- Support talent sourcing through job boards, internal talent sources, and external recruitment partners.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs and keep recruitment activities on track with expected timelines.
- Assist with onboarding steps and make sure all required documents are completed according to company standards.
- Help prepare and coordinate work pass submissions, while also handling day-to-day HR administrative support.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
- Prior experience of 1 to 2 years in HR or talent acquisition within Singapore is preferred.
