Job description

Role overview

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for North America, you will oversee end-to-end hiring across four locations in the region: New York City (Tribeca and Upper East Side), Chicago, and Toronto. The role blends strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach, requiring you to manage both fast-paced hiring for operational teams and recruitment for important leadership positions. Every hire should align with AIRE’s standards for quality, culture, and guest experience.

In close partnership with the Talent Lead for North America, you will help deliver regional recruitment plans, support workforce planning, and drive hiring initiatives across all sites. You will also work directly with Site Directors and Department Managers, serving as a trusted advisor on hiring needs, candidate quality, and market trends.

Your contribution will be measured not only by how efficiently roles are filled, but also by the calibre of people hired and how well they succeed once they join.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment process across several sites and job families, covering both operational and leadership hiring.
  • Work with Site Directors and Department Managers to clarify hiring requirements, shape role profiles, and design interview steps.
  • Handle a mix of high-volume operational recruitment and selective leadership hiring across different departments.
  • Create and run sourcing plans through job boards, social platforms, strategic partnerships, and direct outreach.
  • Ensure every candidate receives a smooth, consistent experience that reflects AIRE’s values and service standards.
  • Keep ATS records accurate and up to date in Teamtailor, Workday, or similar systems, and share regular recruitment updates and insights.
  • Support internal transfers, succession planning, and talent pipeline development to strengthen future hiring readiness.
  • Partner with the Talent Lead on employer branding projects and regional talent campaigns.
