Role overview
We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist in the United Kingdom to help drive international hiring for a partner organization. This role is centered on finding, engaging, and selecting skilled independent contractors, with a particular emphasis on linguists who can support varied language needs across different markets.
You will oversee the full hiring journey, starting with candidate search and evaluation and continuing through onboarding. The position suits someone who is structured, confident in communication, and able to handle a fast-paced recruitment workload across multiple regions and time zones.
In this role, you will contribute to building reliable talent pipelines and creating a smooth, professional experience for candidates around the world.
Accountabilities
- Identify, attract, and recruit independent contractors from multiple regions in line with specific language and business needs.
- Create and apply sourcing approaches that keep the candidate pipeline strong and consistently supplied with suitable profiles.
- Interview candidates and review their language ability, credentials, and fit for each opportunity.
- Handle the end-to-end recruitment process, from early sourcing and screening through to onboarding.
- Support large-scale hiring efforts while keeping quality standards high throughout the process.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand hiring demand, role expectations, and priority requirements.
- Carry out market research and maintain connections with prospective candidates to strengthen future hiring pools.
- Deliver a positive, professional candidate journey at every stage of recruitment.
- Monitor recruitment activity and review hiring metrics to evaluate how well sourcing methods are performing.
Requirements
- Between 6 months and 1 year of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a comparable role.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to run recruitment processes independently and manage several priorities at once.
- Excellent communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and relationship-building ability.
- Well-developed organization and time-management skills.
- Comfort working autonomously, meeting deadlines, and staying on top of tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to work across different time zones when needed.
- Experience hiring independent contractors, freelancers, or international talent would be advantageous.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package.
- Chance to collaborate with a varied, international team.
- Exposure to global hiring practices and diverse multicultural talent markets.
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- Dynamic workplace with room to broaden recruitment expertise.
Application and hiring process
This role is being advertised on behalf of a partner company, which handles applications and all subsequent hiring steps. A matching process powered by AI is used to review applications quickly and fairly against the role’s core criteria. Shortlisted candidates are then shared with the hiring company, and the partner’s internal team manages the final decision as well as any interviews or assessments.
Privacy and data use
By applying, you agree that your personal data may be processed to assess your suitability for the role and shared with the hiring employer where appropriate. This is done under applicable data protection rules, including GDPR, and is based on legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures. You may exercise your rights, including access, correction, deletion, and objection, at any time.
Artificial intelligence tools may also be used to support parts of the recruitment workflow, such as reviewing applications, screening resumes, or flagging possible inconsistencies in submitted information. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human decision-making, and the final hiring decision is made by people.
