Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to lead and support end-to-end recruiting efforts across the business. The role involves partnering with recruitment teams on staffing needs as well as supporting organizational restructuring initiatives. You will also help facilitate orientations for newly hired union employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete recruitment process for high-volume positions, from sourcing and screening to interviews and offer management.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline by using job boards and other sourcing channels.
- Review resumes and handle large applicant volumes through an applicant tracking system.
- Contribute to recruiting efforts tied to reorganization and changing workforce requirements.
- Support onboarding activities and orientation sessions for new union hires.
- Work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver on hiring targets and deadlines.
- Maintain recruiting trackers and candidate data in detailed Excel spreadsheets.
- Compile weekly recruiting metrics and progress reports.
- Provide coordination and administrative support across the hiring workflow.
- Keep candidate information, reports, and records accurate and up to date.
- Remain flexible and composed in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
- Assist with hiring for engineering, utility, telecom, and other technical roles when required.
