Role Overview
This position supports end-to-end recruitment for selected roles and teams. The focus is on sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, onboarding assistance, and day-to-day recruitment operations.
The role is practical and execution-oriented, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to keep hiring efficient, compliant, and candidate-friendly.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create clear, accurate job descriptions that match business needs and role expectations.
- Run full-cycle hiring for assigned openings, including intake discussions, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offer coordination, and transition to onboarding.
- Find candidates through job boards, social platforms, professional communities, employee referrals, and other channels.
- Recommend creative sourcing approaches to reach both active job seekers and passive talent.
- Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate fit and qualifications.
- Arrange interviews between candidates and hiring leaders, and support the logistics needed for a smooth process.
- Help manage reference checks and relay relevant feedback to hiring managers.
- Act as the main contact for candidates during the hiring process.
- Provide timely updates on status, next steps, and outcomes throughout recruitment.
- Respond to candidate questions quickly and professionally while protecting a positive experience.
- Work with HR operations and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding activities.
- Ensure new hire documents and compliance forms are completed properly.
- Support onboarding workflow so new employees are integrated smoothly.
- Assist with or deliver new hire orientation and help shape a strong onboarding experience.
- Be available as a contact point for new hires during their onboarding period.
- Keep candidate and requisition records accurate in the applicant tracking system.
- Help improve ATS use and data quality across the recruitment process.
- Track hiring metrics such as time to fill, source of hire, and pipeline activity.
- Look for ways to make recruitment more efficient and improve candidate movement through the funnel.
- Support employer branding efforts through job fairs, career events, and community hiring activities.
- Represent the organization’s value proposition throughout recruitment interactions.
- Communicate the company’s benefits, culture, and values to help attract strong candidates.
- Contribute to efforts that strengthen the organization’s reputation as a desirable employer.
- Make sure hiring practices follow federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Handle applicant and employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Assist with HR projects and broader initiatives as needed by HR leadership.
- Help continuously improve recruitment and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area is preferred; equivalent experience may also be considered.
- At least 3 to 5+ years of experience handling full-cycle recruitment in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methods, recruiting best practices, and the talent acquisition lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across levels.
- Strong organizational ability and comfort managing several requisitions at once.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to keep records and documentation accurate.
- Capable of working independently while also partnering effectively with an HR team.
- Working knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented toward candidates.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Office-based work in a clean, well-lit setting with occasional temperature changes and nearby coworkers.
- For field-facing staff and community liaisons, frequent travel to client homes or community locations may be required.
- Must be able to drive safely for travel related to the role.
- Work in client homes may involve changing temperatures, odors, allergens, pets, and other environmental conditions.
- The job involves extended periods of repetitive computer work using a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- May require lifting and carrying equipment or supplies up to 35 pounds.

- Requires walking and standing, along with sitting for more than 75% of the workday.
