Active-duty military spouses may be considered for remote or hybrid flexibility in line with policy and business needs.

The organization’s purpose is to help members build financial security through strong products, dependable service, and trusted guidance. Its workplace culture emphasizes honesty, integrity, loyalty, and service, with a strong focus on supporting military members and their families.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain partnerships with hiring leaders, candidate communities, peer recruiters, and external vendors to support hiring needs.
  • Design and execute sourcing plans that help create diverse talent pipelines for open roles.
  • Run end-to-end recruitment activities using a range of sourcing and selection methods.
  • Support hiring managers through the recruitment process while helping ensure compliance with internal rules and external regulations.
  • Take part in recruitment and networking events, including those focused on military talent, diversity, and niche expertise.
  • Contribute to staffing projects and broader talent acquisition initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Help improve recruiting processes and drive greater efficiency.
  • Apply working knowledge of employment law, policies, and HR procedures.
  • Identify issues early, recommend solutions, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Track all candidates promptly and keep the applicant tracking system updated in real time to support compliance requirements.
  • Keep candidates informed with consistent, high-touch communication throughout the hiring journey.
  • May negotiate salary within an approved range while maintaining fiduciary responsibility to the company.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and control risks tied to business activities in line with compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience in place of the degree.
  • At least 5 years of high-volume recruiting experience in staffing, general HR, and/or account relationship management.
  • Current experience in financial services and insurance.
  • Working knowledge of employment and hiring laws at the state and federal level.
  • Understanding of effective screening and interviewing methods.
  • Developing proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software used for sourcing tools and techniques.

Preferred Experience

  • 10 years of high-volume recruiting experience, including current work in a financial services environment focused on insurance-licensed roles.
  • Prior US military experience, or experience as a military spouse or domestic partner.
