About the Role

Relate Search is collaborating with a fast-growing, private equity-backed industrial company to recruit a Manager of Recruitment & Onboarding. This pivotal new position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources and involves designing and enhancing talent acquisition efforts across North America. The role offers a chance to shape hiring strategy while remaining actively involved, working closely with leaders in both the U.S. and Canada to provide a unified, top-tier candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for diverse corporate, operational, and field roles throughout North America.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to craft hiring plans, optimize workforce strategy, and deliver excellent candidate engagement.
  • Implement standardized recruiting procedures, interview frameworks, and onboarding protocols across multiple sites.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines by employing innovative sourcing techniques, especially for technical and challenging-to-fill positions.
  • Foster partnerships with trade schools, recruitment agencies, and various talent channels.
  • Create and analyze recruiting data and reports to continuously enhance recruiting effectiveness and align with business expansion.
  • Support the implementation of scalable talent acquisition systems and technologies as the company grows.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, including managing complex or multiple-site hiring initiatives.
  • Strong advisory and influencing capabilities to partner effectively with hiring managers and senior executives.
  • Background in recruiting technical professionals, field service workers, operations staff, or skilled tradespeople.
  • Enthusiasm for developing structured, consistent processes within an evolving organization.
  • Experience with recruitment in the U.S. market is required; familiarity with Canadian hiring processes is advantageous.
