Job description
Role overview
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead for a partner company based in the United States. This position combines team leadership with direct recruiting work, giving you the chance to guide a growing recruitment function while also handling important hiring searches yourself.
The role is designed for someone who can think strategically, keep hiring operations running smoothly, and bring strong recruiting expertise to complex and senior-level searches. You will help shape how the team works, support recruiter growth, and contribute to an excellent experience for candidates and hiring partners.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced recruiting leader who enjoys working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment with a high level of ownership.
What you will do
You will lead a recruiter pod while staying actively involved in key hiring work. Your focus will be on keeping the team aligned, productive, and on track to meet hiring goals, while also maintaining strong quality across the hiring process.
- Own a recruiting pod by setting focus, priorities, and expectations so the team can deliver against hiring targets.
- Handle a mix of leadership responsibilities and individual recruiting work, including complex and senior searches.
- Turn broader talent acquisition goals into clear team priorities and measurable actions.
- Run regular one-on-one meetings centered on performance, development, pipeline status, and career progression.
- Improve recruiting practices across sourcing, outreach, candidate engagement, interviewing, and stakeholder communication.
- Coach recruiters on strategy, stakeholder management, sourcing approaches, and professional growth.
- Strengthen hiring processes so they can scale consistently and provide a better candidate experience.
- Spot team or performance issues early and work with leadership to address them effectively.
What we are looking for
The right candidate will bring deep recruitment experience, proven team leadership, and a strong record of delivering results while helping others improve. You should be comfortable managing your own hiring workload while supporting recruiter performance and development.
- 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or executive search.
- At least 2 years leading a recruiting team, pod, or similar talent function.
- Experience balancing personal recruiting delivery with support for other recruiters’ growth and performance.
- Strong command of the full hiring cycle, including sourcing, outreach, pipeline management, interviewing, and candidate experience.
- Ability to coach recruiters and lift recruiting quality through constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Solid stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple teams and functions.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to set expectations and address issues proactively.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills for managing multiple demands at once.
- A collaborative, empathetic leadership style focused on trust, guidance, and example-setting.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment with a strong focus on results and improvement.
Benefits
This role offers the chance to shape a high-impact talent acquisition function within a growing organization, with flexibility to work remotely from within the United States. You will have influence over recruiting strategy, team development, and process improvements, while working in a collaborative and inclusive culture that values growth, initiative, and innovation.
- Opportunity to lead and shape a meaningful talent acquisition function in a rapidly expanding organization.
- Remote work flexibility within the United States.
- Scope to influence recruiting strategy, hiring processes, and team development efforts.
- Collaborative and inclusive culture that supports employee growth and success.
- Professional development opportunities to deepen leadership and talent acquisition capabilities.
- Chance to work with diverse teams and support global workforce building.
- High-ownership environment where initiative, innovation, and impact are valued.
