Role overview
Cellution Biologics Inc. is seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition leader to shape and run its U.S. hiring strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this position will work closely with executive leaders and hiring managers to forecast workforce needs, build strong talent pipelines, and bring in high-caliber talent across commercial, clinical, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, medical affairs, finance, and other corporate areas.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. The person in this position will refine recruiting workflows, use market data and recruitment technology, strengthen employer branding, and apply AI-supported sourcing methods to improve hiring quality, candidate experience, and efficiency. The role also includes creating scalable hiring practices, maintaining legal compliance, tracking key recruiting metrics, and acting as a trusted partner to business leaders.
The company is looking for someone with deep recruiting experience in life sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar healthcare sectors, and the ability to balance planning with active recruiting in a fast-moving growth environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set and execute the U.S. talent acquisition plan in line with business growth and workforce planning needs.
- Work with executive leadership on hiring priorities, succession planning, talent insights, and organization design.
- Create repeatable recruiting processes, governance standards, and performance measurements that can scale.
- Handle full-cycle hiring for commercial, clinical, medical affairs, operations, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, finance, HR, and corporate roles.
- Design focused sourcing approaches and ensure a strong candidate journey.
- Lead executive searches and recruit sales leadership and other business-critical positions.
- Develop proactive pipelines, succession plans, and networks of passive candidates.
- Track labor market trends, competitor activity, and compensation benchmarks to guide hiring strategy.
- Improve employer brand through recruitment marketing, networking, and participation in industry circles.
- Advise hiring managers on workforce planning, interview approach, candidate evaluation, and final hiring decisions.
- Coach leaders on structured interviewing and effective selection practices.
- Improve recruiting operations, maintain accurate ATS data, and support compliance with applicable U.S. employment laws.
- Partner with HR to create a smooth onboarding experience.
- Use ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-enabled sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics to increase efficiency and hiring quality.
- Measure and report time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance, pipeline strength, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Drive process improvements, recruiting innovation, and adoption of best practices.
- Lead strategic talent acquisition initiatives and take on other assigned duties as needed.
Education and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Applicants should bring more than 10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a high-growth organization.
Strong experience is expected across commercial, clinical, medical affairs, operations, regulatory, quality, supply chain, finance, HR, and executive leadership hiring.
Background in biotechnology, biologics, medical devices, specialty pharmaceuticals, regenerative medicine, or another regulated life sciences setting is preferred.
Experience hiring commercial sales teams, sales leaders, and senior executives such as directors, vice presidents, and C-suite leaders across the United States is highly valued.
Relevant experience in executive search, workforce planning, talent mapping, passive sourcing, and succession planning is important.
Proficiency is needed in behavioral interviewing, competency-based assessment methods, ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-supported recruiting tools, and recruitment analytics.
Candidates should understand U.S. employment law and recruiting compliance. SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or a comparable certification is preferred. Experience in entrepreneurial, private equity-backed, venture-backed, or other fast-growing businesses is a plus.
Work environment
This is a full-time, exempt remote role based in the United States.
The job requires a professional home-office setup and regular use of computers, video conferencing tools, ATS, HRIS, CRM, and other business systems.
Frequent interaction with executives, hiring managers, candidates, and outside partners is part of the role.
Travel of up to 20% may be needed for meetings, recruiting activities, conferences, and onboarding support.
The environment is fast paced and dynamic, so adaptability, professionalism, and strong prioritization are essential.
