Role Overview

Servbank is looking for a meticulous, relationship-focused Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to manage recruiting support for banking and mortgage servicing functions. In this position, you will help identify, evaluate, and hire strong candidates while also assisting with onboarding so new employees have a positive start.

Recruiting and Talent Acquisition

  • Handle end-to-end hiring for banking, servicing, and operations positions such as call center, deposit operations, and servicing specialist roles.
  • Work with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs, job expectations, and the profile of the ideal candidate.
  • Find candidates using job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other sourcing methods.
  • Review applications and conduct initial phone screens to assess capability, background, and fit with the organization.
  • Arrange interviews and keep candidates informed at every stage of the process.
  • Maintain organized candidate pipelines and keep ATS records accurate, using Paylocity or a similar system.

Onboarding and Candidate Experience

  • Coordinate onboarding tasks such as offer letters, background verification, and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Partner with HR to help ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance through the employee’s first day.
  • Communicate onboarding steps and expectations clearly to newly hired employees.
  • Support new hire orientation coordination when needed.

Requirements

  • Between 2 and 5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in banking, financial services, or another high-volume hiring environment.
  • Background in managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Comfort using applicant tracking systems; experience with Paylocity is an advantage.
  • Some exposure to onboarding or HR coordination work.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and sound hiring practices.
  • Strong planning and organizational ability, with the capacity to juggle several open roles at once.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
