Job description
About the Role
We are developing a recruitment and applicant tracking platform specifically tailored for the Saudi market, emphasizing compliance with local regulations such as Nitaqat/Saudization, Qiwa, and Saudi Labor Law. We seek an experienced talent acquisition professional based in Saudi Arabia to provide real-world user insights and buyer feedback. This role focuses on critically evaluating our platform and advising on its features to best meet local hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on assessments of the platform from the perspective of a Saudi-based Talent Acquisition manager, identifying strengths, gaps, and enhancements that could motivate platform adoption.
- Provide expert advice on the recruitment workflow stages essential in Saudi Arabia: requisition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and onboarding, highlighting areas where current tools are insufficient.
- Offer practical insights on compliance, including how Nitaqat status, Qiwa, and Saudi Labor Law influence hiring choices and how these aspects should be reflected within a recruitment tool.
- Contribute knowledge regarding the market landscape, pricing strategies, decision-makers, budget considerations, and employer preferences comparing products such as Elevatus and Talentera.
- Optionally facilitate connections with other TA/HR leaders willing to engage in brief discussions about the product.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of talent acquisition or recruitment experience within Saudi Arabia, either in-house or agency-based.
- Practical experience with applicant tracking systems or recruitment platforms; candidates must specify which platforms they have used.
- Deep understanding of Saudization/Nitaqat, Qiwa, and compliance requirements in Saudi hiring practices.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
- Ability to provide honest, direct, and forthright feedback rather than reassurance.
Compensation and Engagement Details
This is a paid engagement with rate negotiable depending on the candidate's experience. The expected commitment is a few hours weekly over approximately four to six weeks. This position is fully remote.
