Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Business Partner to become part of our North American recruitment team. This role entails managing the complete recruitment lifecycle while acting as a reliable consultant to hiring managers across multiple manufacturing locations. Collaboration with business leaders is crucial to devise recruitment strategies, establish solid candidate pipelines, and secure hires that enable company growth. Additionally, this role engages in university recruitment programs and supports Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives focused on process enhancement, employer branding, and recruitment quality.
The position is remote, with an expectation of up to 30% travel for collaboration with managers, site visits, onboarding support, and recruitment events.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner directly with site hiring managers in the US to grasp workforce demands and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment across areas such as Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other essential departments.
- Identify, evaluate, and interview candidates utilizing multiple sourcing tools and techniques.
- Build and sustain pipelines for critical, difficult-to-fill roles spanning engineering, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams.
- Track and enhance recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hires, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
- Engage in workforce planning to anticipate current and future talent requirements.
- Contribute to university recruitment activities, including job fairs, internship programs, and campus engagements.
- Participate in Talent Acquisition COE initiatives like process optimizations, employer branding, and technological advancements.
- Keep applicant tracking system records accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure candidates have a positive and professional recruitment experience.
- Stay informed on recruitment trends and best practices within the manufacturing sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; however, candidates with substantial relevant recruiting experience, especially in manufacturing or industrial environments, will be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience required, with preference for those having over 5 years.
- Background in recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, automotive, metals, aerospace, or similar production industries strongly favored.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to influence and establish credibility with leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with SuccessFactors ATS plus sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
- Knowledgeable about labor market dynamics and talent availability within manufacturing.
