About the Role
A luxury retail company is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Assistant based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This hybrid position involves working four days each week onsite and supports recruitment efforts across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source candidates through various online platforms and talent databases.
- Perform initial screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications.
- Schedule and manage interviews involving multiple participants.
- Post and update job advertisements across multiple recruiting channels.
- Assist with pre-employment processes such as background checks and onboarding.
- Engage in candidate outreach and build talent pipelines, including LinkedIn sourcing.
- Maintain recruitment data, candidate records, and workflows within applicant tracking systems.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure efficient recruitment processes.
- Offer administrative support throughout the entire hiring lifecycle.
- Maintain a professional and positive experience for candidates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience or equivalent internship in recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field.
- A strong desire to develop a career in recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Experience with candidate sourcing and managing interview coordination is preferred.
- Excellent professional communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior leaders.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
- Proactive and resourceful, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Capability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Strong skills in relationship building and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
- A positive, professional, and team-centered attitude with a sense of urgency and accountability.
Compensation and Additional Information
The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $28 to $30. Additional incentives such as bonuses, incentive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package may be provided during the hiring process. Salary range may vary based on candidate qualifications and may be adjusted in the future.
