Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition & People Operations Manager is a vital contributor to InRule's expansion initiatives. Reporting to the CFO, this role manages the entire talent acquisition cycle, oversees employer branding, handles pre-boarding and onboarding procedures, administers contingent workforce and Employer of Record (EOR) relationships, and drives HRIS management and reporting. The position supports approximately 15-plus new hires annually across a global multi-entity structure, including direct employees, EOR staff, and contractors worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and business positions, managing sourcing to offer acceptance.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on defining roles, hiring strategies, and employment structures encompassing direct hires, EOR personnel, and contractors.
- Handle right-to-work and pre-employment compliance checks.
- Work closely with legal counsel on offer letters, employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other staffing documents.
- Manage partnerships with recruiting vendors and external agencies.
- Own the employer brand across InRule's careers page, LinkedIn brand, and Glassdoor profile.
- Develop and implement branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent globally.
- Align employer branding efforts with the company’s overall marketing strategy in partnership with the marketing team.
- Maintain recruiter-facing materials, including job descriptions and candidate communications.
- Oversee the pre-boarding phase post-offer acceptance, including equipment, system access, and first-day preparations.
- Design and enhance onboarding experiences with structured 30/60/90-day plans.
- Serve as the primary administrator for EOR provider relationships, ensuring compliance with country regulations and coordinating onboarding/offboarding.
- Maintain contractor agreements, monitor renewal dates, and conduct classification audits to reduce risk related to misclassification globally.
- Administer headcount budgeting and requisition processes.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HRIS and ATS data including employee records, organizational structures, and employment changes.
- Create and manage HR reports, including dashboards tracking headcount, attrition, exit interviews, hiring metrics, and people analytics for leadership.
Candidate Profile
- 4 to 7 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience within SaaS or technology sectors.
- Strong interest in expanding into HR operations beyond pure recruitment.
- Proven track record managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems, recruiting analytics, and HR reporting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable driving process-building in ambiguous contexts within a growing global company.

Compensation
Annual salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 for the Chicago location.
