T24 Technical Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient T24 Technical Business Analyst with substantial expertise in the Temenos Transact platform (T24). This role requires close collaboration with development teams to deliver precise analysis impacting business operations and the T24 technology roadmap. The position emphasizes interpreting InfoBasic code, auditing complex T24 customizations, and offering insights critical to system supportability and future extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Bridge communication between business units and technology teams ensuring T24 solutions meet business requirements and are implementable.
• Analyze existing codebases to evaluate feasibility of business needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements and communicate solutions clearly.
• Estimate effort and resources needed for solution implementation effectively.
• Support quality engineers as needed without it being a primary task.
• Partner with engineering leads, analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to propel projects forward.
• Discuss software design alternatives with engineering leads.
• Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax.
• Participate in defect triaging and root cause analysis to resolve production issues.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Strong mastery of Temenos Transact platform with direct experience.
• Hands-on local code development skills using InfoBasic and TAFJ componentized code as well as OFS processing.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret existing code functionality.
• Level 3 code development competence with practical exposure.
• Experience managing TAFJ code libraries.
• Deep knowledge of T24 programming including templates, version APIs, enquiry APIs, core API hooks, and multi-thread routines.
• Sound understanding of T24 data models stored in Oracle databases.
• Functional experience across T24 modules such as fees and charges configuration, core securities module, corporate actions, security master setup, TPH, securities position management, futures & options lifecycle.
• Expertise in T24 delivery module, SWIFT/MX configuration for securities, corporate actions, accounting, money markets, and market data modules.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the T24 securities module addressing front to back-office operations.
• Extensive software development lifecycle involvement from conceptualization to deployment.
• Current knowledge of tools and technologies used in the domain.
• Understanding of system integration patterns and supporting technologies.
• Experience with agile project delivery focusing on requirements discovery and user story preparation.
• Insight into test-driven development and writing effective test cases collaborating with QA teams.
• Knowledge of securities trading, setup, administration, and corporate actions within Transact.
• Familiarity with delivery workflows including SWIFT and delivery advice customizations.
• Preferred skills in Temenos Integration Framework, IRIS, JBoss, channel interface configurations (BROWSER, IB, DFE, Data Warehouse), Core Java, and Oracle Database.
