Role overview
Austrade is hiring an experienced Systems Administration Officer to join the Corporate Systems Team in a non-ongoing role. The position sits within the Corporate Services Group and supports the systems used for payroll and people management, finance, procurement, travel, and strategic reporting across a global operating environment.
In this role, you will help maintain and improve Aurion while applying your systems administration experience and your understanding of legislation, guidelines, and policies relevant to HR and/or finance processes.
Key duties
- Carry out day-to-day systems administration work such as user upkeep, environment administration, incident handling, service request handling, end-user training, and preparing reports and queries.
- Support the ongoing improvement of payroll, finance, and human resources processes so operations remain efficient and effective.
- Create, update, and manage clear and current work instructions.
- Provide corporate systems support and technical assistance to ensure legislation, corporate system policies, and procedures are applied correctly in Austrade’s operating environment.
- Deliver strong customer service to internal and external users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the success of the Corporate Systems Team by helping build clear work processes, supporting team planning, maintaining a positive team culture, sharing feedback, and identifying ways to improve performance in a collaborative, continuously improving environment.
