The role will also promote responsible business practices across daily operations, underwriting activity and investment choices.

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Create, refine and roll out the organisation’s sustainability and ESG plan so it supports the wider corporate strategy and long-term business direction.
  • Embed sustainability objectives into enterprise planning, while staying compliant with the relevant regulatory frameworks, industry guidance and international standards.
  • Keep the organisation moving forward by tracking market shifts and introducing recognised sustainability best practices across functions.

Risk, Regulation and Compliance

  • Follow changes in ESG-related laws, disclosure obligations and market expectations, and ensure the business remains compliant and prepared.
  • Contribute to the design and integration of climate-resilient insurance offerings and responsible investment approaches.
  • Share analysis on environmental and climate-related risks that may affect customers, products and overall resilience in the sector.

Project Delivery

  • Own sustainability projects from idea stage through implementation, ensuring strategic priorities are delivered effectively.

  • Engage external parties such as regulators, industry associations and community partners.
  • Strengthen awareness and support for sustainability through training, communication and culture-building activities.

Reporting and Transparency

  • Develop sustainability reports in accordance with global reporting standards.
  • Measure ESG performance and share results with senior leaders and outside stakeholders.
