About the Role
Join GardaWorld as a Surveillance Security Guard located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, with additional opportunities in Port Colborne. This role requires keen observation skills to monitor and detect potential security threats by scanning multiple surveillance screens. You will be tasked with preventative and responsive measures across a variety of environments including security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses.
Working Hours and Location
Your scheduled work is Monday through Friday from midnight to 8 AM, and the primary worksite is at postal code L3K 5V3.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security systems for suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to incidents or suspected threats
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports regarding observations and incidents
- Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain security on premises
- Regulate access to restricted areas and verify identities of visitors
- Identify any vulnerabilities or malfunctions within security systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies or serious events
Required Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Possession of a valid security license
- Current certification in first aid
- Excellent report writing capabilities
- Sharp eyesight and ability to maintain concentration for extended periods
- Strong technological aptitude
- Physical ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
