Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide flexible, individualized, and group mental health assistance aimed at enhancing confidence, practical skills, and autonomy. The role involves collaboration with families, services, and community resources to offer coordinated, culturally sensitive care. This support helps individuals progress toward their recovery objectives at a pace that suits them.
This is a fixed term opportunity available as full time or part time until 30 June 2031.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of Certificate IV in Mental Health or Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work
- Strong dedication to recovery-oriented practices compliant with the National Framework for Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services
- Lived experience with mental health challenges or close association through family, friends, or kin
- Proven ability to engage and mentor individuals toward structured recovery goal achievement
