About the Role

We seek enthusiastic, values-aligned Support Workers to join our team, enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young people through personalized, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, high-quality support to people with disabilities
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development activities
  • Foster meaningful relationships by offering mentorship and emotional support
  • Encourage participation in community events and recreational programs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to execute support plans
  • Advocate for the rights of clients and promote their independence
  • Maintain safe, trauma-informed environments for youth with complex needs

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to human rights and creating positive social impact
  • Empathetic, compassionate nature coupled with resilience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention
  • Current First Aid, CPR certification, valid driver's license, and NDIS Worker Check or willingness to acquire
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating schedule including day shifts, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
