About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, high-quality support to people with disabilities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development activities
- Foster meaningful relationships by offering mentorship and emotional support
- Encourage participation in community events and recreational programs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to execute support plans
- Advocate for the rights of clients and promote their independence
- Maintain safe, trauma-informed environments for youth with complex needs
Requirements
- Strong commitment to human rights and creating positive social impact
- Empathetic, compassionate nature coupled with resilience
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Possession of or willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention
- Current First Aid, CPR certification, valid driver's license, and NDIS Worker Check or willingness to acquire
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating schedule including day shifts, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
