About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored, high-quality support to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with personal care, mobility tasks, and skill development activities.
- Foster meaningful relationships by offering mentorship and emotional support.
- Encourage participation in community and recreational events.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to carry out support plans effectively.
- Advocate for the rights of customers and promote their independence.
- Maintain safe, trauma-aware environments for young people with complex needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in disability services, aged care, or family and community support roles.
- Possess or be willing to obtain current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Obtain an NDIS Worker Check or be prepared to acquire one.
- Exhibit strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Available to work flexible hours including day shifts, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
