Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Support Workers on a casual contract basis for roles located in the Miramar and Rongotai areas of Wellington's eastern suburbs. This role offers an hourly wage ranging between $24.85 to $29.68 depending on qualifications, providing flexible shifts where every day brings unique experiences.

Role Responsibilities and Impact
As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities including Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, Fragile X syndrome, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, ADHD, and epilepsy. You'll utilize structured support plans to encourage independence and help individuals build meaningful community connections, working collaboratively with a passionate team.

- Works well in teams with strong communication and collaboration skills

Prior experience in disability support is advantageous but not mandatory. Transferable skills from fields such as care, education, hospitality, or customer service are welcome. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
