About the Role
The Fountain Group is seeking experienced Supply Planning Transformation Leads and Specialists for a significant, large-scale Supply Planning Transformation Program. This initiative aims to implement a new Target Operating Model (TOM) across a global manufacturing network, focusing on new planning processes, tools, and operational methodologies. These roles are crucial for driving successful business transformation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead and assist in the deployment of supply planning transformation initiatives at various manufacturing sites.
- Champion the adoption of updated planning processes, systems, and operational frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with site leadership, supply chain personnel, and operations stakeholders.
- Evaluate site readiness and pinpoint discrepancies compared to future-state processes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans for deployment, implementation, and change management.
- Provide training and ongoing support to supply planning teams.
- Monitor project timelines, identify potential risks, and report on deployment progress.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and document key learnings.
- Facilitate a smooth transition to sustainable post-deployment operations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, supply planning, or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) environments.
- Previous work experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors.
- Proven experience in supply chain transformation, process enhancement, system implementation, or operating model deployment.
- Experience managing timeline-sensitive projects and cross-functional collaborations.
- Familiarity with planning systems such as SAP, SAP IBP, SAP APO, Blue Yonder, JDA, Infor, or similar advanced planning and scheduling tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in direct people management.
- Experience in change management, potentially with relevant certifications.
- Project management expertise.
- Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.

- Requires 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or S&OP.
- Responsible for site-specific deployment, training, adoption, and stakeholder engagement.
- Serves as the primary transformation point of contact for designated manufacturing locations.
Additional Information
- This is a 24-month assignment.
- The position is remote but requires travel between 15-35%.
- Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
