Job description

Role overview

This is a remote Supply & Logistics Coordinator opportunity based in the United Kingdom, offered through a partner company that handles all application reviews and follow-up steps. The role sits within a fast-growing international business and focuses on managing the full lifecycle of hardware supply chain operations. You will coordinate manufacturers, freight and logistics partners, distributors, and internal teams to keep product flow efficient, inventory reliable, and delivery timelines on track.

The position blends day-to-day execution with process design and longer-term operational planning. It is well suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving systems, and solving complex supply chain problems in a setting that values autonomy, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key accountabilities

  • Direct the complete movement of hardware products from manufacturing sites to distributors across several international markets.
  • Prepare, track, and administer purchase orders while aligning production timelines, lead times, and shipment schedules with manufacturing partners.
  • Handle inventory controls such as stock allocation, partial shipment coordination, replenishment planning, and inventory accuracy checks.
  • Work with freight forwarders, carriers, and distribution partners to manage international logistics and support on-time delivery.
  • Assist distributors with order coordination, delivery status updates, problem resolution, and general operational support.
  • Manage the return merchandise authorization process, including issue logging, manufacturer follow-up, reconciliation, and root-cause review.
  • Review inventory levels, demand forecasts, and operational reports to inform purchasing decisions and protect product availability.
  • Build, record, and refine standard operating procedures and broader supply chain workflows.
  • Spot bottlenecks in operations and introduce improvements that increase scale and efficiency.
  • Partner with commercial, finance, and product teams to keep business priorities aligned.

Candidate profile

The role calls for a minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, operations, or a similar function where the person has owned day-to-day execution. Strong direct experience with manufacturers is essential, especially across purchase orders, production planning, and lead-time tracking.

You should have a solid grasp of international supply chain processes, logistics coordination, inventory management, and stock allocation. Experience handling international shipping and working with freight providers, carriers, and distribution networks is expected. Comfort with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, or comparable systems is also important.

Success in this job depends on being able to create structured processes, document how work gets done, and improve operations over time. Analytical thinking is needed to interpret forecasts, reports, and inventory trends. You should also bring strong organization, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and the confidence to manage several priorities at once in a fast-moving, lightly structured environment.

Working effectively with international partners across regions and cultures is part of the role. Experience in hardware, consumer electronics, e-commerce operations, distributor management, or channel operations would be helpful, and exposure to AI tools, automation, or workflow optimization technologies is a plus.

Benefits and working model

  • Fully remote full-time role, with the flexibility to work from your country of residence.
  • Flexible working pattern focused on collaboration rather than fixed hours.
  • Competitive pay package aligned with seniority, experience, and local market benchmarks.
  • At least 25 days of paid annual leave.
  • Paid sick leave support where local law does not already provide sufficient coverage.
  • Enhanced parental leave, with paid and unpaid leave options during the first year after childbirth.
  • Home office equipment budget provided at onboarding.
  • Monthly allowance for smart home technology and engagement with industry products.
  • Contribution toward home internet costs.
  • Time can be allocated to relevant open-source or community-driven side projects.
  • International, collaborative environment with a high degree of ownership and independence.
  • Long-term growth potential in a profitable and expanding organization.
