Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity based in Ireland, offered on behalf of a partner organization that handles applications and the subsequent hiring steps. The role centers on establishing and expanding a technical sales engineering function across EMEA, with a strong focus on enterprise AI adoption and business impact.
You will serve as the link between advanced AI capabilities and commercial outcomes, guiding strategic discussions with executive stakeholders such as CIOs and CTOs. The position calls for someone who can combine deep technical credibility with strong executive communication, turning complex AI systems into clear value propositions for large enterprises. In addition, you will create and lead a high-caliber evangelism and solutions engineering team, help shape go-to-market direction, and influence product strategy in a rapidly scaling, venture-backed environment.
Accountabilities
- Own senior-level technical sales interactions, including discovery conversations, architecture reviews, and solution validation with executive and technical stakeholders.
- Serve as the main technical expert in advanced deal cycles, translating AI architecture into outcomes tailored to each customer’s business needs.
- Support the sales organization by addressing technical objections and helping move important enterprise opportunities forward.
- Represent the company in public-facing settings such as executive briefings, conferences, workshops, and industry events.
- Design repeatable technical narratives, including demo structures, presentation flows, and industry-specific messaging.
- Recruit, guide, and grow a high-performing Sales Engineering and Evangelism team across multiple regions.
- Establish standards, playbooks, and best practices that raise the quality of technical selling and field execution.
- Work closely with Product and Sales to improve messaging, positioning, and roadmap priorities using market feedback.
- Convert insights from customer conversations and field activity into recommendations that inform product direction and strategy.
- Maintain consistency and high quality across global pre-sales technical engagements.
Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, or another enterprise-facing technical leadership role.
- Strong expertise in AI and machine learning systems, including LLM architectures, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise deployment approaches.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, security requirements, and scalable system architecture.
- Proven success working in enterprise sales environments with long and complex deal cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead strong technical teams.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to make sophisticated technical ideas accessible to executive audiences.
- Experience speaking publicly through conferences, thought leadership, or similar external-facing activities.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to align technical decisions to revenue goals.
- Experience in data-intensive or enterprise-focused sectors such as financial services, enterprise software, consulting, or similar domains.
