Job description
About the company
Be part of a fast-growing FMCG business from New Zealand that is privately owned and locally operated. The company has a strong pipeline of orders and clear, realistic plans to keep expanding.
The organisation is already established and is still moving forward, supported by new product launches and increased sales across both current and emerging export markets.
To support this expansion, the owners are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own the full end-to-end supply chain and strengthen performance, capability, and scalability as operations become larger and more complex.
The role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position covers a wide range of supply chain responsibilities, including supply planning, demand planning, inventory control, S&OP, purchasing, supplier management, reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement. Strong experience in supply chain analysis and reporting is important, and FMCG exposure is preferred.
You will partner closely with 3PL providers and co-manufacturing partners to ensure plans are delivered effectively and that inventory levels support demand across international markets. Building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing others constructively will be essential.
As the business continues to grow, you will also have the chance to shape and refine supply chain processes. This may include working with the CEO to source and appoint additional co-manufacturing partners, potentially overseas, to support existing and new export markets.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain management within a fast-growing consumer products business focused on exports.
You should be comfortable with systems, strong on relationships, and motivated by delivering strong outcomes. This role suits someone who enjoys both strategic contribution and hands-on ownership of day-to-day supply chain activity.
What’s in it for you?
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead supply chain operations for a business taking New Zealand products to global markets. You will be closely involved in that journey and play an important part in the company’s success.
The role will continue to evolve as the business scales, bringing new challenges, projects, and responsibilities along the way.
Location and working arrangement
You should ideally be based in Auckland. The role is primarily work-from-home, with five days per week on this arrangement. Some travel is required, starting with around one visit per week to the Auckland-based co-manufacturer. Over time, travel may also include overseas suppliers and future co-manufacturing and 3PL partners.
Application note
Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV through the application process provided.
