Role Overview

Based at the Sevenum office and warehouse near Venlo, you will be the key leader in implementing intelligent, effective, and customer-centric demand and supply strategies spanning multiple warehouses and sales channels. Your mission is to ensure products are available at the right quantities, locations, and times.

You will oversee forecasting, planning, inventory control, and supplier management while balancing stock optimization, minimizing stockouts, and promoting healthy stock turnover. Your strategic mindset and dedication to data-driven practices will help uncover improvement opportunities.

Leading a team of five direct and about thirty-five indirect reports, you will enable scalable, efficient, and compliant operations across several countries, inspiring collaboration and enhancing team performance.

Success is measured by excellent forecast accuracy, strong service levels, healthy inventory metrics, and ongoing enhancement of planning workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end demand and supply planning ensuring accurate forecasting, ideal inventory, and robust product availability in all markets and warehouses.
• Enhance inventory performance by reducing out-of-stock situations, promoting effective stock rotation, and managing forced purchases prudently.
• Implement and continuously refine data-driven forecasting and planning processes, boosting accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to guarantee uninterrupted supply, mitigate risks, and foster operational cooperation.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team, focusing on capability building and motivation.
• Act as a vital liaison within the company, securing alignment among demand, supply, and operational priorities by collaborating with Commercial Operations, Category Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics, Pharma Operations, and senior leadership across Operations and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• At least five years of substantive experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or inventory oversight.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate planning, inventory, and supply data for informed decision-making.
• Established record of leading teams and fostering cross-functional alignment within supply chain operations.
• Proven experience managing planning operations across multiple warehouses or countries.
• Background in e-commerce environments.
• Availability to work onsite at least three days weekly at the Sevenum office.
