Role Overview

The Supply Chain Coordinator will play a pivotal role within the DME supply chain, managing the flow of VR headsets and related equipment to patients. This position requires active involvement with the Fulfillment team, vendors, logistics, and onboarding groups to ensure timely and accurate processing of equipment. Starting as a temporary/hourly position to manage current volume demands, it offers potential for full-time conversion as the team grows. Duties vary daily and include preparing equipment kits for shipment, monitoring and reconciling inventory, addressing vendor delays, and streamlining tracking processes.

Key Duties

• Prepare and ship VR headsets and accessories (chargers, cases, cleaning kits) for patient orders.
• Track inventory levels and incoming shipments, identifying potential stock shortages promptly.
• Inspect and receive incoming inventory, verifying device and firmware versions before dispatch.
• Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within tracking systems.
• Assist the transition toward enhanced automation and streamlined tracking methods as volume increases.
• Document and recommend process improvements in inventory and fulfillment operations.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to monitor order statuses, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Manage return and refurbishment workflows for patient equipment returns.
• Report issues such as delays or discrepancies proactively to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Take on evolving supply chain and operational tasks as the role progresses.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant is methodical, attentive to detail, and capable of juggling multiple orders and shipments without overlooking specifics. They proactively identify and flag issues such as low inventory before they become problematic. Comfort with both physical inventory handling and digital recordkeeping is crucial, given the direct impact on patient care associated with the equipment managed.

• Competent use of spreadsheets.

• Physical capability to lift and manage equipment and packages required in daily fulfillment.
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to handle fluctuating workload volumes.

Preferred Experience

• Background in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or fulfillment roles.
• Familiarity with inventory management or mobile device management (MDM) software.
• Experience within healthcare, especially DME or medical device sectors.
