About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Management Engineer specializing in Supplier Quality within the aerospace sector, based in Fort Worth, TX. The position demands 8 to 12 years of professional background in supplier quality management spanning aerospace, automotive, and medical fields.
Responsibilities & Key Focus Areas
- Lead and manage supplier quality projects ensuring adherence to aerospace standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluate new suppliers to confirm quality compliance.
- Drive product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities in coordination with suppliers.
- Implement and manage quality improvement programs and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to maintain quality control and assurance across manufacturing processes.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficient in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), and CAPA methodologies.
- Experienced in performing supplier audits and onboarding assessments for new suppliers.
- Hands-on knowledge of quality tools including the 7 Quality Control (QC) tools, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
