Supervisor-Stewards at Four Points by Sheraton, Riyadh

Role Overview

This position involves leading and assisting stewards to enhance cleaning efficiency, ensuring appropriate water temperature and product usage for cleaning, and maintaining proper records. The Supervisor supports banquet setup and assists cooks and kitchen teams with various tasks as required. Responsibilities include providing necessary items to kitchen staff, aiding during banquets and buffets to transport items and maintain ample stock, and delivering cleaned items to designated locations.

Use and upkeep of cleaning tools and equipment such as dishwashers, hand wash stations, washing bins, and waste compactors are essential tasks. The role involves collaborating with management to recruit, train, schedule, review, counsel, enforce discipline, motivate, and support employees. Compliance with company safety and security policies, accident reporting, and participation in relevant trainings and certifications are mandatory.

Maintaining a clean, professional uniform and neat appearance at all times is required, along with confidentiality in company-related information and protection of company assets. The Supervisor must greet and attend to customers per company standards, anticipate and respond to client needs, and communicate courteously and clearly. Building constructive and positive professional relationships with peers, fostering teamwork to achieve shared goals, and adhering to quality standards are essential aspects of the role.

Physical demands include independently moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing loads up to 23 kilograms, enduring prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and moving, as well as performing knee extensions and flexions such as bending, turning, pulling, and crouching. Mobility on slippery, uneven, or sloped surfaces is required. Additional duties as assigned by supervisors relevant to the position may be expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
