Job description

Role overview

This Hyderabad-based on-site position is a full-time community and placement operations role with a 3-month probation period. The schedule runs from Tuesday to Sunday, with Monday as the fixed weekly off, and working hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role focuses on ensuring that every student placement is captured accurately, documented well, and shared consistently across all relevant channels on time.

You will not be creating social captions or designing creatives. Instead, you will run the process that converts a placement into public proof by coordinating with alumni, internal teams, and vendors, maintaining trackers, and making sure no detail is missed.

What you will own

Your core responsibility is to make each placement visible, trackable, and well-documented from start to finish.

  • Maintain daily placement data and ensure records are complete before anything else moves ahead.
  • Contact placed alumni, conduct meaningful conversations, document their journey, and gather consent along with photos.
  • Ensure a LinkedIn post goes out from the student’s own profile within 3 to 4 days of the first call.
  • Organize testimonial video shoots, brief the video team, and see that the final video is published within 12 days.
  • Send poster requirements to the design team and ensure a 2 to 3 day turnaround.

Content distribution

  • Publish placement stories and updates across the website, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp communities, and performance media on a fixed schedule.
  • Share strong-performing content with the performance marketing team proactively, without waiting to be asked.

Alumni community ownership

  • Build and manage the alumni network from the ground up as a key community channel for placed students.
  • Connect placed alumni with prospective learners for trust-building calls, in coordination with the sales team.
  • Plan alumni meetups every 2 to 3 months and help manage the full experience end to end.
  • Drive 2 to 3 authentic learner reviews every day across platforms.
  • Monitor reputation closely, surface negative reviews quickly, and coordinate responses.

Operational ownership

  • Submit outcome reports every 15 days.
  • Keep process documents current so knowledge is not locked in individuals’ heads.
  • Manage and support two CDAs who will report to you.
  • Step in front of the camera when required and represent the community comfortably.

Who fits this role

You are highly organized, comfortable juggling several moving parts, and proactive about keeping things on track. You naturally use checklists and trackers, communicate confidently with alumni at important career moments, and stay on top of follow-ups before issues grow larger.

You should understand how Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and WhatsApp communities function, even if you are not personally creating content for them.

Experience and background

The preferred background is 2 to 4 years in community management, marketing operations, or program coordination. Strong Google Sheets and Excel skills are essential. Good written, verbal, and call communication skills are required. An EdTech background is preferred, and the ability to manage several parallel workflows without losing context is important.

Important note

This is not a social media content role, not a placement counsellor role, and not a position where tasks are assigned only after being asked for. The expectation is full ownership of outcomes and visible execution.
