About the Role and Organization
As a Student Success Coach at GT Anywhere, you will inspire and support gifted 3rd to 8th grade students to excel beyond conventional learning limitations. This virtual school employs AI-driven curriculum combined with personalized mentorship to accelerate student growth at unprecedented speed. Your focus will be on nurturing student confidence, motivation, and independent thinking rather than delivering formal instruction.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead biweekly one-on-one virtual coaching sessions concentrated on academic planning, motivation, and cultivating a growth mindset.
- Offer open virtual office hours for students to obtain immediate advice, support, or problem-solving assistance.
- Utilize AI-based dashboards to monitor student progress, identify challenges, and adapt coaching strategies as necessary.
- Document observations, issues, and strategic interventions to maintain student advancement on an accelerated trajectory.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices, escalate concerns, and continuously enhance the coaching approach.
What the Role Does NOT Include
- Delivering lectures, assessing assignments, or distributing instructional content, as these are managed by technology.
- Strictly following syllabi or engaging in classroom teaching.
- Micromanaging disinterested students; the role emphasizes mentorship rather than supervision.
- Attending frequent meetings or getting involved in bureaucratic tasks.
- Performing under low engagement; this position demands elite-level commitment and impactful contribution.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Master's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum one year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating students in grades K–8.
- At least six months of experience working with gifted students within education, coaching, or mentoring contexts.
- Demonstrated high performer in domains such as academics, sports, entrepreneurship, or creative arts.
- Strong ability to establish rapport quickly in a virtual environment using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet.
- Comfort with using technological dashboards and tools for tracking and improving student outcomes.
- Availability aligning at least 80% with United States business hours.
Preferred but Not Essential
- PhD in any field.
- Experience in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational mentoring.
- Familiarity with homeschooling or alternative educational environments.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, long-term role offering a 40-hour workweek entirely remote. Compensation is $37 per hour, equating to approximately $75,000 annually based on 50 working weeks per year. Payment is disbursed weekly under an independent contractor agreement with Crossover acting as Contractor of Record.
