Position Overview
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) is crucial in ensuring that school districts and individual schools achieve significant outcomes by partnering with Just Right Reader. This role involves guiding customers from initial onboarding through full program adoption, encouraging engagement, and ensuring measurable improvements in student reading proficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison for assigned districts and schools throughout their journey as customers.
- Cultivate strong, trust-based connections with district/school leaders, instructional coaches, and teachers.
- Create and maintain detailed account plans that set goals, milestones, and success indicators.
- Regularly check in with stakeholders to evaluate progress, address challenges, and share best practices.
- Continuously monitor account status to preempt risks and uncover opportunities for contract renewals and growth.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and program launches for new customers, ensuring clarity on subsequent steps.
- Collaborate with district and school teams to align program implementation with instructional priorities and literacy objectives.
- Utilize data and usage reports to support discussions, track usage, and highlight program impact.
- Conduct professional development sessions, data analyses, and presentations showcasing success stories.
- Examine customer outcomes to link product engagement with student literacy advancement.
- Share compelling data and narratives illustrating measurable value and goal progress.
- Encourage renewals and expansions by demonstrating program impact and strengthening customer relations.
- Identify and engage advocates for testimonials, case studies, and speaking opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Automation, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Support pilot program conversions and spot chances for upselling additional solutions in partnership with Sales.
- Provide insightful customer feedback to guide ongoing product and service enhancement.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years experience in customer success, account management, or district partnerships, ideally within K-12 education or edtech environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and foster enduring customer relationships.
- Strong familiarity with district/school operational structures, instructional aims, and literacy programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Competence in analyzing and interpreting data to craft persuasive stories about educational impact.
- Highly organized, proactive, and dedicated to supporting educators and improving student results.
