Role overview

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is hiring a Student Management Officer in Singapore to support student discipline, supervision, school operations, and event coordination. The role requires a hands-on professional who can manage cases, maintain order, and work closely with school teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Student Engagement and Discipline (SED) and Student Management (SM) teams to carry out positive discipline approaches.
  • Carry out fact-finding and case reviews by checking CCTV footage, speaking with teachers, staff, and students, and preparing clear recommendations and findings.
  • Handle late-coming cases, keep records and documentation current, and prepare incident reports.
  • Supervise students serving internal suspension or detention, and assist in locating students who cannot be accounted for.
  • Monitor and report prohibited behaviour among students, including vaping and smoking.
  • Maintain a visible presence that encourages proper conduct, grooming, and appearance.
  • Patrol assigned areas such as the school canteen, free play areas, toilets, and the surrounding community.
  • Manage minor disputes in the canteen during recess and lunch.
  • Ensure safe use of equipment in play areas and help calm peer conflicts.
  • Watch for inappropriate activity in toilets, especially vaping and smoking.
  • Build working relationships with nearby residents, stall vendors, and grassroots partners to help monitor student behaviour outside school grounds.
  • Support school events with logistics and student management, including runs, cohort camps, and emergency exercises.
  • Assist the Examination Committee with escort duties and invigilation support for special rooms.
  • Support meetings and conferences involving parents and students.
  • Help with administrative and operational reviews on non-student days, including safety checks, emergency readiness, and facility maintenance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in youth management is needed.
  • Experience handling teenagers in disciplinary matters, case management, or behavioural support is highly valued.
  • Background in national uniformed services is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is needed for reporting and case documentation.
  • Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
  • The candidate should be emotionally steady, resilient, culturally aware, and able to balance firmness with care.
  • Ability to calm tense situations, mediate conflicts, and guide student behaviour while serving as a positive example is important.
